Chromatic aberration & glitch blur

Chromatic aberration is the colored fringe a cheap lens makes when red and blue light don't land in the same place. Push it further, smear the colors sideways and add a glow, and you get the glitch blur look of music videos and night-time city edits. It's softer than a hard glitch: nothing breaks, everything just vibrates.

How to use it

Upload a photo — night scenes and neon lights work beautifully.
Pick Dreamy, Trippy or Subtle, then set Color split, Smear and Glow.
Choose Sideways or From center, then download.

From center keeps the middle clean and splits more toward the edges, like a real lens.
Glow makes bright lights bloom — great for neon, too much for daylight.
Keep Smear low on faces; raise it on streets and lights.

Questions

What is chromatic aberration?

It's when a lens focuses colors slightly differently, leaving red and blue outlines around edges. Here it's added on purpose as a style.

How is Glitch blur different from Glitch?

Glitch slices and shifts the picture like a broken signal. Glitch blur keeps the picture whole and adds color fringes, smear and glow — moodier and smoother.

Can I make it subtle for a portrait?

Yes. Use the Subtle preset or keep Color split under 25 and Smear low.
