What is Image to 3D?
Image to 3D turns one picture into a full 3D model: shape, color and surface detail, all the way around the object. Upload a photo of a product, a toy, a piece of furniture or a character, and a few minutes later you can turn it in your browser like the real thing.
No photo? Describe the object in a sentence. PopNow first draws it as a clean product shot, then builds the 3D model from that picture. Every model downloads as GLB, OBJ or STL, and you can record a turntable video or six reference angles without opening any 3D software.
How it works
A 3D generation model reads the picture, works out the shape of the object including the sides you can’t see, and bakes the colors into textures wrapped around it. The result is a single GLB file with physically based materials, so it looks right under any light. The viewer, the turntable video, the six angles and the OBJ and STL conversion all run in your browser, so they cost nothing extra and your files don’t leave the page until you download or share them.
Questions
Is the image to 3D generator free?+
Spinning, downloading and exporting the examples is free, and so are the viewer, the turntable video and the OBJ and STL conversion. Generating a new 3D model uses credits: from about 432 credits per model.
Which file formats can I download?+
GLB (glTF binary with textures) for the web, Blender, Unity, Unreal and AR viewers, OBJ for any 3D app, and STL for 3D printing. The turntable video is an MP4 and the angles are PNG images.
Can I 3D print the model?+
Yes. Download the STL: it is turned upright and scaled so the longest side is 100 mm, and you can resize it in your slicer. Thin parts may need thickening before printing, as with any scanned model.
What pictures work best?+
One object or character, fully in frame, on a plain background, photographed from a three-quarter angle. Cluttered scenes, several objects or heavy cropping give weaker results; turn on Remove background first for busy photos.
Can I make a 3D model from text?+
Yes. Switch to Text and describe the object. PopNow draws it as a clean product shot first and then builds the 3D model, so the price on the button includes both steps (about 461 credits by default).
Can I use the 3D models commercially?+
Yes. Models you generate are yours to use in products, games, prints and marketing, following PopNow’s terms. Don’t upload pictures of things you don’t have the right to use.
Can I use the model in Blender, Unity or Roblox?+
Yes. GLB opens in Blender, Unity, Unreal, Godot and most 3D viewers, and OBJ works in almost any 3D app. In Roblox Studio, import it as a mesh. Models come as one textured mesh without a rig.
