Finished images on the canvas now have an Edit menu: repaint or erase an area you select with a click, box or brush, change the angle or the light, expand, sharpen or upscale. Grid sheets split into separate cards, and color grading with curves and HSL is free in your browser.

A batch sheet runs one recipe over many rows: paste a list, import a CSV or drop in images, and each row becomes its own card, four at a time. Connect a whole group as references, copy cards between canvases, and export a canvas with its media to import it elsewhere.

Canvas, your asset library and Filmmaker now load thumbnails and video covers until you need the full file. In our test, a 200-card canvas loaded 4.9 MB of media instead of 10.6 MB, and its first screen appeared in 4.4 seconds instead of 8.3 on a 10 Mbps connection.

Start a Filmmaker project from a long story in TXT, Markdown, Word or PDF. It splits the chapters, gathers the characters and writes each episode from the original text. Episodes get title cards, Previously on recaps and name tags the first time a character appears.

Filmmaker can shoot a scene where up to four characters speak, each in the voice you picked. Subtitles can be matched to the voices in the finished cut, voice-over gets its own track, and a check before shooting flags props, positions and continuity that don't line up.
