What does Video to Anime do?
Video to Anime redraws a short video of yours, frame by frame, in a cartoon style. The moves, the timing and the camera stay the same; the people and the place become anime, a 3D animated movie or a claymation set.
There is a second mode for creators and VTubers: My cartoon character. Pick a character, draw one from your selfie, or bring your own cartoon, and the person in your clip turns into that character, moving exactly like you did.
How to turn a video into anime
- Upload a short clip3 to 10 seconds, at least 720 pixels on each side. Phone videos work. Longer? Trim it in the free editor first.
- Pick a modeWhole video in cartoon style, or My cartoon character.
- Choose the lookAnime, 3D cartoon or claymation. For a character, draw one from a selfie, pick a ready-made one, or upload your own cartoon.
- Make it and downloadThe button shows the exact price. Your clip and the cartoon version play side by side, then download it or send it to the editor or GIF maker.
Two modes
- Whole video in cartoon style: the same people, the same scene and the same moves, all redrawn as anime, a 3D cartoon or claymation. Great for dance clips, travel moments and reaction videos.
- My cartoon character: the person in your clip turns into your character, and the whole scene is drawn in that character's style. Great for VTuber-style posts, mascots and storytelling.
Why the result is always a cartoon
Video to Anime makes cartoon versions of your clips, never live-action fakes. The whole clip is redrawn in an animated style, and there is no realistic setting.
In character mode the character has to be a cartoon too. Selfies are first drawn into a cartoon character, and a picture you upload gets a quick look first: if it is a realistic photo of a person, or seems to show a child, it is not used. Nobody's real face is moved into someone else's video.
Use clips you filmed or have the right to use, and do not present the result as real footage.

Tips for the best result
- One or two people, clearly visible, work best.
- Good light and a steady phone give cleaner cartoon frames.
- Big moves like dancing and spinning are kept, including fisheye and orbit camera moves.
- Text on signs and screens is redrawn and may not stay readable.
How many credits it takes
- The price follows the clip length: 3 seconds 57 credits, 5 seconds 94 credits, 10 seconds 188 credits (720p).
- Drawing a character from your selfie adds 8 credits.
- Examples on this page are free to watch. If a run fails, the credits come back automatically.
