Question 1

How do I resize a video for TikTok?

Accepted Answer

Add your video, choose TikTok · Reels · Shorts (9:16) and press Export video. A wide video gets a blurred copy of itself above and below, so nothing is cut off. Then download it or send it to another tool.

Question 2

What’s the difference between Blurred background and Crop to fill?

Accepted Answer

Blurred background keeps every part of your video and fills the empty bars with a soft, blurred copy of the same shot. Crop to fill zooms in until the frame is full and trims what spills over the edges, which works best when the subject is in the middle.

Question 3

Is it really free?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Resizing runs in your browser and uses no credits. You don’t need an account to export and download. Sign up if you want to keep the video in My assets and send it to other tools.

Question 4

Is my video uploaded?

Accepted Answer

Not to resize it. The new video is recorded in your browser. If you’re signed in, the finished video is saved to your account so you can find it in My assets later.

Question 5

What size does each platform use?

Accepted Answer

TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts are 9:16 (1080 × 1920). Instagram and Facebook feed posts look best at 4:5 (1080 × 1350). YouTube videos are 16:9 (1920 × 1080). Square posts are 1:1 (1080 × 1080).

Question 6

How long can the video be?

Accepted Answer

Up to 180 seconds. Recording takes about as long as the video, so keep the tab open until it’s done.
