FAQ
How do I turn a document into a podcast?+
Open the Paste text tab, paste up to 6,000 characters from your document, pick a length and a style, and press Make my podcast. You get the audio plus a transcript you can click through.
Can I change the voices?+
Yes. Pick any of the 30 built-in voices for each host, preview them first, and rename the hosts. Voice cloning isn’t available for podcasts.
Can I use the podcast commercially?+
Yes. To the extent the law allows, you own what you make with PopNow and can use it in personal and commercial projects. Use text you have the right to use, and label AI voices where a law or platform asks you to.
How long can a podcast be, and how many credits does it take?+
Episodes are 1, 3 or 5 minutes. A 1-minute episode is about 5 credits, 3 minutes about 12 and 5 minutes about 19. Cover art adds 5.
Which languages can the hosts speak?+
English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Italian, Polish, Russian, Japanese, Korean and Chinese (simplified and traditional). Pick the language before you make the episode.
Will the hosts make things up?+
The script sticks to your text and widely known facts, and it doesn’t invent statistics or quotes. It’s still an AI script, so check names and numbers before you publish.
How is this different from NotebookLM?+
NotebookLM makes audio overviews for studying inside its notebook. Here you choose length, style, voices and host names, and you get a timed transcript and captions ready for video.
