See yourself with a buzz cut before you shave
A buzz cut is the one haircut you can't take back for months, so it's worth seeing first. PopNow's buzz cut filter clips the hair in your photo to the length you choose: a #1 guard (about 3 mm), #2 (6 mm), #4 (12 mm) or a fully shaved head. Add a low taper or a skin fade, or bleach it, and compare up to four looks side by side. Long hair, curls and braids are removed cleanly, your hairline stays your own, and beards, glasses and earrings stay put.
Questions
What would I look like with a buzz cut?+
Upload a front-facing photo and pick a length. The filter removes your current hair, follows your own hairline and the shape of your head, and keeps your face, beard and glasses. You get a realistic photo, not a cartoon.
Is there a bald filter?+
Yes. Pick Bald for a smooth, freshly shaved head. It's a good way to see whether shaving looks better than a very short buzz if your hair is thinning.
What do #1, #2 and #4 mean?+
They are clipper guard sizes: #1 is about 3 mm, #2 about 6 mm and #4 about 12 mm. Tell your barber the number you liked here.
Does it work with long hair, curls or braids?+
Yes. In our tests it cleanly removed long straight hair, tight curls and long box braids, with nothing left resting on the shoulders.
How much does it cost?+
Each look is one picture: 6 credits in Standard, 11 in HD and 8 with the other model. Comparing three looks in Standard costs 18 credits. New accounts get 30 free credits, and failed pictures refund automatically. No subscription.
Will it change my beard or glasses?+
No. The instructions keep beards, moustaches, eyebrows, glasses and earrings exactly as they are and only change the hair on your head.
Can women use the buzz cut filter?+
Of course. Several of our examples are women with long hair, braids or curls going to a #1 or #2. It's one of the most common reasons people try it.
Can I use a photo of someone else?+
Only with their permission. Use your own photo, or one of a friend who said yes.
