Try a new hair color before you dye
PopNow's AI hair color changer recolors the hair in your own photo and leaves everything else alone: the cut, length, parting, curl pattern, face, glasses and background stay as they were. Pick up to six of the 16 presets, or describe a shade and choose it with the color picker, and the results sit side by side next to your original. It's a quick way to see whether platinum washes you out, whether copper suits your skin tone, or how a balayage would look before you book a colorist.
Questions
Will it change my haircut or face?+
No. The instructions tell the model to change only the color and keep the cut, length, parting, curls, face, skin tone, glasses and background the same. In our tests on 12 people the cut stayed strand for strand.
Can I choose an exact color?+
Yes. Use the color picker next to “Describe a color”. We turn the shade into words the model understands, like “deep teal”, and add the exact color code. You can also type a description, such as “rose gold with dark roots”.
Does it work on dark, coily or braided hair?+
Yes. We tested honey blonde and cherry red on long box braids, auburn on short coily hair and platinum on a very short cut on dark skin. The color follows the braids and coils instead of flattening them.
Can it cover grey hair?+
Yes. Pick a natural shade such as Chestnut or Dark brown. On our grey-haired test portrait, Chestnut gave even, believable coverage from root to tip.
How much does it cost?+
Each color is one picture: 6 credits in Standard, 11 in HD and 8 with the other model. Trying three colors in Standard costs 18 credits. New accounts get 30 free credits, and failed pictures refund automatically. No subscription.
Will the real dye look exactly like this?+
It's a realistic preview, not a promise. Your starting color, the condition of your hair and the products your colorist uses all change the final result, so bring the picture to your appointment as a reference.
Can I also try a new haircut?+
Yes. The AI hairstyle changer has 33 haircuts and can change cut and color together. For very short looks, try the buzz cut filter.
Can I use a photo of someone else?+
Only with their permission. Use your own photo, or one of a friend who said yes.
