What would I look like with a beard?
Growing a beard means weeks of the awkward in-between stage, and shaving one off is just as hard to undo, so a preview helps. PopNow's beard filter draws facial hair on your own photo: light stubble, a short boxed beard, a full or long beard, a goatee or a classic moustache. It also works the other way round and shows you clean-shaven. Your face, the hair on your head, glasses and background stay the same, and you can compare up to six looks side by side, in your natural color, salt-and-pepper or grey.
Questions
What would I look like with a beard?+
Upload a front-facing photo and pick a style. The filter grows facial hair along your own cheeks, jaw and chin in your hair color, and keeps your face, the hair on your head and your glasses. You get a realistic photo, not a cartoon.
Can it remove my beard?+
Yes. Pick Clean-shaven: it removes the beard, moustache and stubble and shows your own jaw and chin with natural skin. In our tests it worked on a full ginger beard and on a short black beard.
Can I see myself with a grey beard?+
Yes. Pick Salt & pepper or Grey under Color with any style. It's a quick way to see how your beard might look in a few years.
Does it work for every skin tone and age?+
Yes. We tested it on men aged 24 to 63 with fair, olive, brown and deep brown skin. Light stubble is the subtlest style and can look faint, which is why the page opens with Short beard and Full beard picked.
How much does it cost?+
Each look is one picture: 6 credits in Standard, 11 in HD and 8 with the other model. Comparing three beards in Standard costs 18 credits. New accounts get 30 free credits, and failed pictures refund automatically. No subscription.
Will it change my hair or glasses?+
No. The instructions keep the hair on your head, your eyebrows, glasses and earrings exactly as they are and only change the facial hair.
Can I use it on a photo of a child?+
No. The beard filter is made for photos of adult men, so please never upload a photo of a child. Any adult who wants to see themselves with a beard for fun can use their own photo.
Can I use a photo of someone else?+
Only with their permission. Use your own photo, or one of a friend who said yes.
