Should you get bangs? See them first
Bangs change a face more than almost any other cut, and they take months to grow out, so most people hesitate. PopNow's bangs filter adds a fringe to your own photo and leaves the rest of your hair alone: the length, layers, color and curl pattern stay exactly as they are, and so do your face, glasses and background. Pick up to six of the 7 styles, set where they should end, and compare them side by side with your original before you sit in the salon chair.
Questions
Will bangs suit me?+
Upload a front-facing photo and try two or three styles side by side; that answers it faster than any face-shape chart. The filter only adds a fringe, so what you see is your own face, hair color and texture, with bangs.
Does it change the rest of my hair?+
No. The instructions keep the length, layers, color and curl pattern of the rest of your hair and only cut a fringe at the front. In our tests on 8 people, the back and sides stayed as they were.
Can I try curtain bangs?+
Yes. Curtain bangs are parted in the middle and sweep out past the eyes into face-framing pieces, so the center of the forehead stays visible. They are also the easiest fringe to grow out.
Does it work on curly hair, coils or braids?+
Yes. Curly bangs are built from your own curls, and every other style keeps your texture too. We tested a curly fringe on long curls and on short coils, and wispy bangs on long box braids.
How much does it cost?+
Each style is one picture: 6 credits in Standard, 11 in HD and 8 with the other model. Trying three styles in Standard costs 18 credits. New accounts get 30 free credits, and failed pictures refund automatically. No subscription.
Can men use the bangs filter?+
Of course. Curtain hair and a short French fringe are popular men's looks, and two of our examples are men going from swept-back hair to a fringe.
Will my stylist get the same result?+
Treat it as a reference picture, not a promise. Cowlicks, density and the way your hair falls change the real cut, so show your stylist the picture together with the style name, like curtain or wispy.
Can I use a photo of someone else?+
Only with their permission. Use your own photo, or one of a friend who said yes.
