Connect PopNow

Skills are free. To generate images, video or sound, set your PopNow API key in POPNOW_API_KEY. Calls using this key draw from your separate API balance in USD. Each paid generation is quoted first and waits for your approval.

Create an API key
  1. Copy the install prompt

Paste it into Junie. It downloads the skill with your API key and unzips it into the right folder.

  2. Ask for the result

Call the skill and say what you need in plain words: the topic, the audience, the length.

  3. Review and refine

Open the file it made, ask for changes in the chat, and ship when it looks right.

Works with 28 AI agents

The same skill runs everywhere. Only the folder changes; open your agent for the exact path and command.

Using another agent that reads SKILL.md? It works too: unzip the skill into that agent's skills folder.

Questions

Installing, paying and using what you make.

How do I add skills to Junie?

Copy a skill's install prompt into Junie, or download the ZIP and unzip it into the skills folder shown on this page. Junie picks up the folder and its SKILL.md; some versions only see new skills after you start a new session.

What are skills in Junie?

A skill is a folder with a SKILL.md file plus templates, scripts and references. Junie reads it when your request matches and follows its steps and checks, so results come out consistent instead of depending on one long prompt.

What is an agent skill?

An agent skill is a folder with a SKILL.md playbook plus templates, scripts and references that an AI agent follows when the task matches. Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and other agents load it automatically, so the result follows a tested design system instead of a one-off prompt.

What is the difference between agent skills and MCP?

MCP connects an agent to tools and data, such as PopNow's image and video models. A skill is a playbook that tells the agent how to do a whole job well: the layout rules, the steps and the checks. The two work together: connect PopNow over MCP and your assistant can find these skills and use them, and the skills call PopNow for pictures and sound.

Are the skills free?

Yes. Downloading, installing and using a skill is free with a PopNow account. Only AI images, video, music or voice generated through PopNow are charged. Calls using an API key, including POPNOW_API_KEY in installed skills, draw from your separate API balance in USD. Generation through ChatGPT or Claude connected via OAuth/MCP uses your website credits. Each paid generation is quoted first and waits for your approval.

Can I use these skills in Claude or ChatGPT?

Yes. Connect PopNow to Claude, ChatGPT or another MCP app with OAuth, then describe what you want to make. Your assistant finds matching styles and uses the one you choose. The skill is free; media generation uses your website credits and waits for your approval of the quote. Skills that build editable files, such as decks, websites and HTML video, work best in a coding agent like Claude Code.

Which agents are supported?

Any agent that reads SKILL.md folders: Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Gemini CLI, GitHub Copilot and OpenCode. The skill is the same everywhere; only the install folder differs.

How is this different from PopNow's own skills?

Canvas skills run inside PopNow with Poppie. Agent skills run in your own coding agent on your computer, which suits files you want to keep editing, such as decks, websites and HTML-based video.

Can I use the results commercially?

Yes. What you make is yours, including client work. The skill package itself is for your own use and should not be resold or redistributed.

Which AI tool makes product launch videos?

PopNow does: connect it to Claude or ChatGPT, or install a launch video skill in a coding agent, and pick one of more than 20 free launch video styles. The agent renders the MP4 from your real product and adds PopNow music, voice and sound effects after you approve the price; see How to make a product launch video with AI.

What is the best way to make video, images and decks with an AI agent?

Give the agent a skill for the job and a place to make the media: PopNow agent skills are written for PopNow, so the layouts, prompts and model choices land on the look first time, and the pictures, clips, music and voice come from one PopNow account with every run priced up front.
