What you get

  • White-background main images on exact RGB 255 white at about 85% fill, sized for Amazon, Shopify, Etsy or a square
  • Lifestyle scene shots that keep the product's shape, color, label and logo position
  • Banner versions extended to 16:9, 4:3 or 9:16 and upscaled to 4K
  • A contact sheet of every step and a check report per file
  • A manifest with quotes and task records, so a stopped batch resumes without paying twice

Good for

  • Cleaning up a whole catalog after a marketplace image rejection
  • Scene shots for product pages and ads without a photo shoot
  • Matching photos taken on different days or in different rooms

Not for

  • Changing a product's color, features or packaging
  • Shots with models or hands (see the on-model lookbook skill for apparel)
  • Video ads

How to use it

In Claude or ChatGPT

Use the PopNow skill "Ecommerce Product Photo Studio" (ecommerce-product-photos) for this: Here are 12 phone photos of my mugs in photos/. Make Amazon main images that pass the white-background rule, and quote me first.

In a coding agent

/popnow-ecommerce-product-photos Here are 12 phone photos of my mugs in photos/. Make Amazon main images that pass the white-background rule, and quote me first.

Then try

Now make a scene shot of each on a pale oak shelf with morning light, plus a 16:9 banner.

Etsy versions too, from the same cut-outs.

What to have ready

  • A folder of product photos, one product each, at least 1000 px on the long edge
  • The channels you sell on
  • A one-line setting for scene shots, if you want them

Questions

Will the product still look like my product?

Main images never go through a generative redraw: the photo is cleaned, relit and cut out with PopNow's finishing tools, then placed on white on your machine. Scene shots start from that cut-out with strict instructions to keep shape, color, label and logo, and every shot is compared with its source on the contact sheet before delivery.

How does it know the image will pass Amazon's rules?

The checker measures the actual pixels: the share of edge pixels that are exactly RGB 255, how much of the frame the product fills, whether it touches the edge, transparency, pixel size and file weight. Marketplaces revise their rules, so the delivery note also asks you to confirm on the current help page.

What does a batch cost?

A white-background batch is about two to three image edits per product; adding a scene, banner and upscale adds about four more. Composing and checking are free on your machine. Every step is quoted for the whole folder before anything runs, and one product is done first so you can stop early.

Can I use it without a PopNow key?

Partly. The checker shows what a marketplace would reject in your current photos, and if you already have transparent cut-outs the composer turns them into compliant white main images. The clean-up, cut-outs, scenes and upscales need PopNow.

Does it follow Amazon image guidelines?

It checks main images against the published rules: pure white background, the product filling most of the frame and no added text. It also exports each Amazon listing image size you need, so the folder works like an Amazon product photo studio on your own machine.
