  • This is an ordered, hinged chain model, not an arbitrary 3D rigid-body solver. Unreachable gaps stop propagation; changing count or timing can leave tiles standing at the end.

  1. Choose the material

    No image is required. The spiral or wave layout, tiles and studio plinth are procedural.

  2. Shape the motion

    Edit the documented project controls, then validate the exact settings. Thirty-six to one hundred dominoes control chain density.

  3. Render and review

    Export locally to MP4, inspect the contact sheet and watch the whole film. Watch contacts advance in sequence. For the supplied complete chain, confirm the final tile falls and a final hold remains; for a removed tile, check that propagation stops.

What happens if I remove a tile?

Set gap_index to its zero-based index. That tile is omitted and cannot receive or pass an impulse, so the downstream chain stays standing unless another supported trigger exists.

Will widely separated tiles still fall in sequence?

No. Links beyond the modeled reach are marked unreachable and do not transmit the impulse.

Can I simulate arbitrary piles of dominoes?

No. Every tile has a fixed hinge and one ordered neighbor. The renderer does not solve general 3D pile collisions.
