Your agent transcribes the episode with PopNow, scores sentence-aligned moments and gives you a shortlist with timecodes and reasons. The ones you pick become 9:16 and 1:1 clips with word-by-word captions taken verbatim from the transcript, a live waveform, speaker names and your cover art, speaker cut-outs or generated B-roll, plus an optional intro card.

Questions

How does it pick the moments for podcast clips?

It transcribes the episode, splits it into sentences and scores every 20 to 60 second window for a question and answer, a story, laughter, a concrete number and a clean ending, and marks filler-heavy stretches down. You get three to five options with timecodes and reasons, and only the ones you choose are rendered.

What is podcast clipping, and does this change what was said?

Podcast clipping means cutting short, shareable moments from an episode. This skill only cuts between sentences: captions are the transcript's words as spoken, with spelling fixes for names only. It never rewrites or re-voices what anyone said.

Can I use my own transcript?

Yes. Point it at an SRT, VTT or timed JSON file and the transcription step is skipped. A podcast clip from a supplied transcript and your cover art renders entirely on your machine.

Is the podcast intro maker free?

Rendering the intro card is free and local: your show name and episode over a moving background. Music is optional, either your own jingle or a short track from PopNow that is quoted before it runs.

Can I put guests' faces on the clips?

Only with their consent. Photos you supply are cut out with PopNow's background remover, and the plan check refuses a face without a consent flag. B-roll shows places and objects, never people.
