Interlaced Knot Art — original locally built artwork

A torus-knot projection creates one closed curve and computes depth at every crossing. Cleared underpasses and layered gold highlights preserve its real over-under order; the example has nine crossings. PopNow can create missing source imagery after a quote; owned assets and local rendering also work.

What you get

  1. Knot PNG and editable vector strand paths

  2. Closed curve coordinates and over-under crossing ledger

  3. Crossing count, depth-order checks and reproducible geometry

Good for

  • Interlaced Knot Art with visible source structure
  • Personal artwork and creative studies that need editable parameters

Not for

  • A rope-length calculator, fabrication-ready weaving plan or arbitrary freehand knot identification.

How to use it

You say

  • Use the PopNow skill "Interlaced Knot Art" (interlaced-knot-art) for this: Create a interlaced knot art using the example's editable controls, and show the actual output with its source proof.

Then try

  • Change one visual parameter and rebuild the real artwork.

  • Quote any missing source image through my connected PopNow tools first.

What to have ready

  • Your subject and intended visual reading
  • Owned source images when the selected workflow uses them
  • Python 3.10+, Pillow and NumPy

Questions

What is actually editable?

A torus-knot projection creates one closed curve and computes depth at every crossing. Cleared underpasses and layered gold highlights preserve its real over-under order; the example has nine crossings.

What files will I receive?

Knot PNG and editable vector strand paths. Closed curve coordinates and over-under crossing ledger. Crossing count, depth-order checks and reproducible geometry.

Can I use this directly for physical production?

No. The closed curve and over-under crossings form a screen artwork, not a tested weaving plan. Rope length, thickness, tension and physical construction need separate design and testing.

Does this require paid generation?

Local rendering uses no generation API. Reuse suitable owned images; PopNow can make missing source artwork after an exact quote and approval.
