Spring Catering Menu on A4 with dish illustrations labeled Illustration, prices and allergen codes, beside the phone menu

Your agent proofs three layouts from your spreadsheet before anything is paid for, then sets every dish, price and allergen in real type. PopNow cleans up your own dish photos with its shadow remover, relighting and background remover, or makes illustrations for dishes without a photo, always labeled as illustrations. The script refuses a dish without a price or with an unknown allergen code.

How to use it

You say

  • Use the PopNow skill "Catering Menu Designer" (catering-menu-designer) for this: Here is our spring catering spreadsheet. Make a printable menu to email clients, a tri-fold for the office, and a phone menu for a QR code on the buffet. Clean up my four dish photos so the light matches.

Then try

  • Make a table tent with just the drinks section.

  • Try the chalkboard layout for our cocktail list.

What to have ready

  • The menu as a spreadsheet: section, dish, description, price, allergens
  • Your dish photos, if you have them
  • Where the phone menu will be hosted, for the QR code
  • Python 3 and Chrome, Chromium or Edge

Questions

Is this a catering menu template I can update when prices change?

Yes. Your menu lives in a spreadsheet; change a price or a dish and run it again to get the same design filled with the new data, in print and on the phone menu.

Which catering menu layout works best for a buffet or drop-off menu?

Classic suits long lists with prices aligned on dotted leaders, modern puts your dish photos next to each item, and the chalkboard look suits bars and casual events. All three are proofed for free before you decide.

Is there a cocktail menu template free to use for table tents?

The layouts, PDFs, table tent and phone menu are made on your computer and cost nothing. Only pictures made or cleaned up with PopNow have a price, and you see it before anything runs.

What if we have no food photos?

PopNow can make illustrations from each dish's description. They are always labeled Illustration in print and on the phone menu, with a note that they are not photos of your food, so no guest is misled.

How are allergens handled?

You give the allergen codes per dish. The script checks them against the key, refuses a gluten-free dish that lists gluten or a vegan dish that lists dairy, prints the key with your allergy note, and lets guests filter dishes on the phone menu.
