How to use it

In Claude or ChatGPT

Use the PopNow skill "Video Chapter Title Cards" (video-chapter-titles) for this: Make chapter cards for my 12-minute sourdough video: Feed the starter (0:00), Mix and rest (2:10), Shape the loaf (5:30), Bake hot (8:45). Dark palette, label them STEP 1 to 4.

Then try

Use a frame from each section of my video for the second shot.

Add a stamp sound and a short sting. Quote it first.

What to have ready

  • Your chapter titles and how to number them
  • A frame or still for each chapter's next scene, if you have one

Questions

Does it make the chapter list for my video description?

Yes. Give each chapter a start time and it writes chapters.txt, ready to paste. It also warns when the list breaks the usual rules: the first chapter must start at 0:00, there should be at least three, and each should last ten seconds or more.

What is the second shot after the title?

After the title holds, two triangles close over it and open on a tilted photo with a short heading and one line of copy for the chapter. Use a still from your footage, or trim the card right after the triangles open and let your footage take over.

Can every chapter sound the same?

Yes. Every card has the same timing, so one PopNow sound-effect run on one card gives a stamp and whoosh you can reuse on all of them. You see the price before it runs.

My chapter title is long. Can the text shrink?

No; the title is one large line by design. The check warns above 28 characters so you can shorten it, which also reads better on screen.

How do I add chapters to a YouTube video with these cards?

Paste the timestamp list the skill writes into your video description, starting at 0:00, and YouTube creates the chapters. The animated chapter titles in the video match those names, which is the simplest way to make YouTube chapters that viewers actually notice.
