Questions
Which files do I get for iOS and Android?
An AppIcon.appiconset with an opaque 1024 px icon and Contents.json (older sizes on request), and Android res folders with adaptive foreground, background and monochrome layers at mdpi to xxxhdpi, the adaptive icon XML, legacy and round launcher icons and a 512 px Play Store icon.
Will Android launchers crop my icon?
No. The artwork is cut out as a separate foreground layer and placed so its farthest point stays inside the 66 dp safe circle, and the checker fails the export if anything crosses it.
How do the interface icons match the app icon?
They are drawn as an edit of the chosen app icon, up to 16 on one sheet, so material, lighting, palette and angle carry over. A script then trims them, evens out their optical size and flags near-duplicates.
Can this icon generator use my existing logo?
Yes. Skip the directions and pass your logo symbol: it is cut out and upscaled once, the interface icons can be drawn in its style, and the store and favicon sizes are exported for free on your machine.
