What you get

  • A 25 to 40 second MP4 at 1080p, 2K or 4K, 30 fps
  • An editable HTML teaser with a scrubbing preview, rebuilt from the product's real screens
  • A soundtrack with synthesised key clicks, sends and a wordmark swell over the music bed
  • QA contact sheets to approve before the full render, and a short sources report
  • Optional PopNow music bed, signature sound effects, macro cold open and sample thumbnails

Good for

  • Teasing an agent skill, plugin, MCP server or CLI inside the terminal it runs in
  • Short launch or feature teasers for apps with a real interface
  • Social clips and keynote openers that should feel calm and premium

Not for

  • Narrated explainers or tutorials; there is no voiceover and no captions
  • Long feature tours; the style proves one thing and stops
  • Products with no interface, command or output to show

How to use it

In Claude or ChatGPT

Use the PopNow skill "Cinematic Dark UI Teaser" (cinematic-product-teaser) for this: Make a 30-second teaser for https://fernlog.example, our agent skill that drafts release notes. Show it installed and used in the terminal, then the finished notes. Quote the music before generating it.

In a coding agent

/popnow-cinematic-product-teaser Make a 30-second teaser for https://fernlog.example, our agent skill that drafts release notes. Show it installed and used in the terminal, then the finished notes. Quote the music before generating it.

Then try

Add a second terminal side by side to show it also runs in our other supported agent.

Make a 20-second lite cut for social with our own track instead of generated music.

What to have ready

  • The product URL, a description or screenshots, and permission to use them
  • What a user types into the product and what comes back
  • A licensed track, or a PopNow API key for the music bed
  • Node.js 20+, FFmpeg, Chrome and playwright-core

Questions

Is the footage generated by a video model?

No. The engine draws every frame from HTML that rebuilds your real screens, then captures it frame by frame, so labels stay exact and editable. PopNow only adds the music bed and, if you want it, a two-second macro cold open.

Does my product have to be an AI agent?

No. Any product with an input and a result works: a search box, a command palette, a New dialog. The story is always one request, real results, one artifact.

Can it show my skill or CLI inside a coding agent?

Yes. It has two neutral agent-terminal skins, alone or side by side, with your real install command, tool calls and output lines. They carry no agent vendor's logo or colours.

What does it cost?

Rendering on your machine is free. A typical teaser uses one PopNow music run, about 72 credits; a kit of signature sound effects adds about 360. Everything is quoted first. Without a key, use your own track and effects or ship it with the built-in interface sounds.
