Questions
Will the title be spelled correctly?
Yes. By default the art is generated without any text and the title, subtitle and author are set as real type from your brief, with a check that every line fits. A painted-lettering option exists, and then every letter is checked by eye.
How is the spine width worked out?
From your page count times a paper factor (white or cream defaults, or the exact number from your printer's calculator). The wrap PDF is built to that size with 0.125 in bleed, and spine lettering is only added when the spine is wide enough.
What does a cover cost?
Roughly three draft images, one final image and an upscale; a print wrap adds one canvas expansion and one more upscale. You see the exact price from the quote before anything runs, and the typesetting, PDF and mockup are free on your computer.
Can it make my cover look like a famous book?
No. It follows the visual conventions of your genre so readers recognise it, but it will not copy a published cover, a living artist's style or another author's branding.
Do I still need a KDP cover calculator?
No. Give the trim size, paper type and page count, and the agent works out the spine and wrap the way a KDP cover calculator does, then exports the print PDF. The ebook side works as a Kindle cover creator at 1600x2560.
