Construction Website Template: first screen of the included example

Create a construction website that turns an early scope into a transparent planning table. Visitors enter quantities and unit rates, see each line cost, add an explicit contingency and export the result. A crisp teal data panel makes assumptions visible rather than presenting a fabricated contractor quote.

Questions

Is the estimate a binding price?

No. It is a planning calculation using the quantities and rates entered. A real contractor must verify the scope and issue the quotation.

How are small amounts rounded?

Rates are parsed as integer cents. Each quantity-times-rate line is rounded to the nearest cent, then the contingency is added explicitly.
