How to use it

In Claude or ChatGPT

Use the PopNow skill "3D Avatar Maker" (3d-avatar-maker) for this: I want a mint-green bunny in long plush wearing an astronaut outfit for my gaming profile picture.

In a coding agent

/popnow-3d-avatar-maker I want a mint-green bunny in long plush wearing an astronaut outfit for my gaming profile picture.

Then try

Upscale my downloaded PNG to 4K for stickers. Quote it first.

Put the studio on my site at /avatar with our brand colours and only the animal shapes.

What to have ready

  • A short description of the character, or nothing at all
  • A desktop browser with 3D graphics turned on
  • Optional: a PopNow API key for upscales and scene art

Questions

Does making the character cost anything?

No. The studio renders in your browser and you download the PNG or 3D page yourself. Only the optional PopNow upscale or scene artwork uses credits, and the skill quotes the price before it runs.

Can I put the avatar builder on my own website?

Yes. The skill writes the full source as one HTML file into your project. You can change the name, palette, shapes, finishes and outfits, embed it in an iframe, and use its script hooks to save avatars to your own backend.

Does it work offline?

The page loads its 3D library from a public CDN, so the first open needs internet. You can self-host that library to remove the dependency.

Can it turn my photo into an avatar?

Not directly: the studio builds characters from preset parts. You can describe yourself or your pet and adjust the result, and you can use PopNow to place the finished character into new scenes.
