Nano Banana 2 made both title words orange with only a blue outline, invented four extra lines of event copy such as “1PM TILL LATE” and “DOWNTOWN SQUARE”, and swapped the cubes for jelly moulds.

- Neither model misspelled a word. The difference was obedience: GPT Image 2 reproduced the capitalisation and punctuation exactly as written, while Nano Banana 2 restyled the small line in capitals. If a client signs off wording letter by letter, that matters more than the illustration.

- GPT Image 2 drew what the prompt listed and little else. Nano Banana 2 added things that fit the theme, like extra vegetables, a mock-up paper border and a wall of tools. That's useful on a mood board and extra work when you need a clean asset.

- GPT Image 2 produced a polished, flattering, stock-photo look. Nano Banana 2 looked more like a real snapshot: wider, busier, flatter light and far more background detail. Hands holding the wrench came out natural on both.
