OpenCode skills for slides, sites and video
Install PopNow skills in OpenCode. Download a skill, unzip it into the skills folder, and call it by name in your next chat.
- Where skills go
For every project
~/.config/opencode/skillsFor this project only
.opencode/skills - How to call a skill
Mention the skill by name, or just describe the job and let OpenCode pick it.
popnow-<skill> - Connect PopNow
Skills are free. To generate images, video or sound, set your PopNow API key in POPNOW_API_KEY. Calls using this key draw from your separate API balance in USD. Each paid generation is quoted first and waits for your approval.
POPNOW_API_KEY
- 1Copy the install prompt
Paste it into OpenCode. It downloads the skill with your API key and unzips it into the right folder.
- 2Ask for the result
Call the skill and say what you need in plain words: the topic, the audience, the length.
- 3Review and refine
Open the file it made, ask for changes in the chat, and ship when it looks right.
All skills
- KPI Dashboard TemplateWeb
Four KPI tiles with change chips over a glowing line chart, a breakdown table and target bars on warm paper.
- Searchable Records TableWeb
Turn a flat CSV into a searchable, sortable table with pagination and safe filtered export.
- Service Status DashboardWeb
Publish an honest service snapshot with stale checks, component health and incident history.
- Operations Dashboard KitWeb
Triage work by priority, owner and overdue status, with clear state transitions and an exportable queue.
- Revenue Trend ReportWeb
Compare recorded revenue periods without hiding missing dates or inventing a forecast.
- Calendar HeatmapWeb
A year of daily activity as a shaded calendar grid, with streaks, totals and keyboard access.
Use OpenCode to turn operational data into a clear interface
Choose the question before the dashboard
An OpenCode creative workflow can begin with a practical operational question: what needs attention, what changed, and where should a reviewer look next? KPI Dashboard Template is a starting point for a metric-oriented interface. Searchable Records Table is better to inspect when the central task is finding and reviewing individual rows. Service Status Dashboard focuses on a service snapshot with component health and incident history. Select the format from the reader's task rather than choosing whichever sample has the most visual density. Data labels, timestamps and missing values matter as much as the layout.
Use OpenCode's configuration path accurately
The personal skills directory listed for OpenCode is ~/.config/opencode/skills; the project directory is .opencode/skills. Put the full downloaded folder in the selected location, retaining SKILL.md and its referenced files. Invoke the package by its plain popnow-prefixed name. Amp also has a personal location under ~/.config, but it uses ~/.config/agents/skills and .agents/skills for project scope. Checking that distinction is particularly helpful when migrating a local toolkit: similar-looking directory conventions do not establish that both agents are reading the same collection.
Make the data contract visible
For a first OpenCode dashboard task, give the assistant a small representative dataset and explain the meaning of every field. State what empty, stale or unavailable data should look like. For Service Status Dashboard, the documented input includes service checks and timezone-aware timestamps; a polished page must still communicate when its evidence was collected. Review the interface using normal, missing and outdated records before supplying a larger dataset. If the task fails early, inspect parsing errors and package requirements. If it succeeds but misleads, revisit aggregation rules and labels. Optional generated imagery is usually secondary to truthful operational information, so settle the data review first.
Three ways to install
- Ask your agent
Copy a skill's install prompt into your agent. It reads the install guide, downloads the package with your key and unzips it into the right folder.
https://popnow.ai/api/skills/install.md - Use the CLI
popnow skills finds and installs skills from your terminal.
npm install -g @popnow/cli && popnow skills - Over MCP
With the developer MCP connected, ask for a style: find_skills suggests packages and install_skill hands over the playbook and the install commands.
find_skills → install_skill - Generation uses your API key
Skills are free. The images, video, music and voice they make through PopNow are charged in USD to the API balance behind POPNOW_API_KEY, after a quote you approve.

Install guides by agent
Same skills everywhere; only the folder changes.
Frequently asked questions
Which OpenCode folder is for a single repository?
Use .opencode/skills for the project scope listed by PopNow. The personal ~/.config/opencode/skills location serves your broader collection. Preserve a package's directory structure and confirm the assistant identifies its instructions before debugging the dashboard code or replacing the input dataset.
When is a records table more useful than a KPI dashboard?
A table is useful when readers need to locate, compare or inspect specific records. A KPI overview serves a summary question. Review Searchable Records Table and KPI Dashboard Template with the audience's actual task in mind rather than treating both as interchangeable decorative layouts.
How should I brief a status-page workflow?
Provide the service list, observed statuses, check times and incident updates. Service Status Dashboard documents stale checks and last-checked evidence, so include timezone-aware timestamps and explain when information becomes outdated. A static snapshot should not imply live monitoring unless your surrounding system actually supplies it.
What if the output looks convincing but uses sample data?
Replace sample records with authorized source material before sharing the result. Ask OpenCode to list unresolved placeholders and check calculations against your dataset. Attractive charts do not verify their own inputs, and a successful build does not establish that the displayed values are accurate.
