A design workflow inside Claude Code
Choose a deliverable before a command
Claude Code users can turn a repository brief into a finished design by installing a focused playbook alongside their coding work. Start with an output someone can review: a presentation for a decision meeting, a product film, or a marketing page. Editable PowerPoint Template suits a team that needs to change text and shapes after export. Product Launch Film instead provides a chapter-based motion project. These are different production workflows; asking for a deck does not mean asking the assistant to flatten every slide into an image.
Place the package where Claude Code can find it
The personal location listed for Claude Code is ~/.claude/skills; the repository location is .claude/skills. Keep the downloaded popnow-prefixed folder intact, with its SKILL.md and supporting resources together. Invoke a chosen skill with a slash, such as /popnow-editable-powerpoint-deck, followed by your audience, source material and intended result. Codex uses .agents/skills and a dollar-prefixed invocation instead. Moving between those assistants therefore calls for checking both the destination and the request syntax, even when you are using the same creative package.
Review a deck as a working document
For a first Claude Code assignment, supply approved copy, chart data, the target presentation app and a list of objects that must remain editable. Ask for an outline before building pages. Review the resulting deck in its editor and inspect the exported file in the app your audience uses. Brand Kit & DESIGN.md Generator is a useful companion when colors and typography need an explicit reference. If discovery fails, check for an extra archive wrapper around the skill folder before changing the brief. A package that cannot be found and a design that needs revision require different fixes.

Frequently asked questions
How should I call a Claude Code presentation skill?
Use the slash form shown in the installation card, then describe the presentation. For example, name popnow-editable-powerpoint-deck with a leading slash and include your audience, approved chart values and editability requirements. The skill name selects the workflow; your following brief supplies its subject.
Should a shared deck workflow live in my personal folder?
For a deck tied to a repository, .claude/skills makes its location explicit within that project. Use ~/.claude/skills for your personal collection across projects. Keep confidential inputs and credentials out of a shared package, and review changes to its instructions with the project.
Which skill should I use for a film rather than slides?
Product Launch Film is the better starting point when the deliverable is a chapter-based product reveal. Editable PowerPoint Template is aimed at a presentation whose objects remain editable. Compare their inputs before installation: motion production requires different source assets and local rendering tools from deck editing.
Why is a slash request producing ordinary prose?
Confirm that the exact installed folder contains SKILL.md and that the request names that skill rather than a similar title. Ask Claude Code to identify which instructions it loaded before continuing. If it reports missing rendering dependencies, investigate those separately from skill discovery.
