OpenClaw skills

Install PopNow skills in OpenClaw. Download a skill, unzip it into the skills folder, and call it by name in your next chat.

  1. 1Copy the install prompt

Paste it into OpenClaw. It downloads the skill with your API key and unzips it into the right folder.

  2. 2Ask for the result

Call the skill and say what you need in plain words: the topic, the audience, the length.

  3. 3Review and refine

Open the file it made, ask for changes in the chat, and ship when it looks right.

Organize an OpenClaw creative assignment by workspace

Use a concrete campaign package

An OpenClaw skill assignment works best when the request names the material to produce and the source assets it may use. For a small campaign, consider Social Cover Generator for the main cover artwork, Carousel Post Maker for a sequence of related panels, and Social Media Report Deck for a later review of results. These are separate stages with different inputs. Cover work needs a clear visual subject and copy; reporting needs actual records. Do not ask a reporting workflow to invent campaign performance simply because the visual assets look complete.

Pay attention to the unusually simple project directory

OpenClaw's listed workspace location is skills, without a leading dot. Its personal collection lives at ~/.openclaw/skills. Keep the downloaded popnow-prefixed folder beneath the chosen location with SKILL.md intact, then use the plain skill name when requesting work. Hermes Agent uses .hermes/skills for its project location instead. This is a useful comparison when moving a package between assistants: a directory that looks plausible in one workspace may be the wrong scope in another. Check the actual OpenClaw workspace before placing a project-level package.

Keep publishing decisions in the brief

For the cover stage, supply the audience, approved headline, aspect requirements and owned artwork. Review one direction before asking for additional campaign pieces so the visual system stays coherent. For a carousel, outline the sequence of ideas and identify what each panel contributes. After publication, prepare a report only from data you can provide and explain the reporting period. If a skill is missing, inspect extraction and folder placement. If a generated result uses the wrong message, revise the campaign brief. Neither skill installation nor a successful local render should be treated as permission to distribute or publish materials elsewhere.

Frequently asked questions

Why is OpenClaw's project folder written as skills?

That is the workspace directory listed in PopNow's OpenClaw record. It is different from the dot-prefixed project folders used by many other agents. Place the complete package there for project scope, or use ~/.openclaw/skills for the personal location, and verify the active workspace.

What should I prepare for a social cover request?

Bring the exact headline, a clear subject, the intended publication format and artwork you have permission to use. Identify any existing brand colors or marks that must remain consistent. Ask for one reviewable cover before expanding the request into a larger campaign set.

Can a campaign report be made from the finished designs alone?

The designs show what was produced, but they do not establish performance. Social Media Report Deck needs your source records and reporting context. Supply the real observations and distinguish missing information from measured results so the presentation remains useful for the campaign review.

How can I keep a carousel consistent with a cover?

Provide the approved cover as a reference and define the message sequence before building individual panels. Carousel Post Maker is a related workflow to inspect. Review typography, imagery and the role of each panel together instead of treating every panel as an unrelated new design.
