Introduction
Seedream 5.0 Flash Image Editing changes or combines the images you supply according to a written instruction. It reads one to ten references, so it works both as a revision tool and as a way to assemble a scene from separate photos.

Pricing
Prices are in credits, the same credits you use on the website (1 credit = $0.01). The hold is taken when the task is accepted and settled to the actual charge when it finishes; failed tasks are refunded.

API quick start
Call the Seedream 5.0 Flash API in three steps
- Create an API key. Sign in to PopNow and create a key in the API console. Keys start with sk-popnow- and use the same credits as the website.
- Send the request. POST /jobs/createTask with model bytedance/seedream-5.0-flash/edit and an input object that follows the parameter table. The response returns a task ID straight away.
- Get the result. Poll GET /jobs/recordInfo with the task ID, or pass a callBackUrl and we post the result to it. Download the output links when the task succeeds.

About the Seedream 5.0 Flash Edit Image endpoint
It is a cheap way to put the same person into many settings: send their photo with every request and give it a role in the prompt.
Avoid long edit chains, which drift; always edit from the original source frame.
All sizes cost the same, so request 2k.
background transparent is available for cut-out outputs.
A practical pattern is a character pipeline: store one clean portrait per character and send it with every scene request, naming it as the person in the prompt.
Text added in edits follows the same rules as generation: quote the copy and say where it sits, then check spelling before publishing.
