Introduction
FLUX.2 [pro] Text to image is Black Forest Labs' production model from the FLUX.2 generation, released on 25 November 2025. It turns a written prompt into a photographic image at 1k or 2k in nine aspect ratios, with text that reads correctly inside the picture and colours you can set with hex codes.

Key features
Readable text in the picture
Quote the words and say where they sit. In our poster test a serif headline and a small sans-serif line both came back spelled exactly as written.
Hex-code colour control
Write colours as hex codes and the palette follows. Our poster used a teal and a copper tone, and the sea and the horizon band took them.
Documentary realism
Skin texture, window light and film grain read as photographs. Our balcony portrait kept freckles and fine lines at 2k.

Pricing
Prices are in credits, the same credits you use on the website (1 credit = $0.01). The hold is taken when the task is accepted and settled to the actual charge when it finishes; failed tasks are refunded.

Quote text and name its style
Put each line in quotes and describe the type, for example a wide-spaced serif headline at the top.
Pin the palette
Give hex codes for the two or three colours that matter and say where they appear.
Draft at 1k
Test a composition at 1k, then render the keeper at 2k.
Use a seed to compare
Keep the seed fixed while you change one phrase, so differences come from your wording.
API quick start
Call the FLUX.2 Pro API in three steps
- Create an API key. Sign in to PopNow and create a key in the API console. Keys start with sk-popnow- and use the same credits as the website.
- Send the request. POST /jobs/createTask with model black-forest-labs/flux-2-pro/text-to-image and an input object that follows the parameter table. The response returns a task ID straight away.
- Get the result. Poll GET /jobs/recordInfo with the task ID, or pass a callBackUrl and we post the result to it. Download the output links when the task succeeds.

FLUX.2 Pro API questions
How much does the FLUX.2 Pro API cost?
FLUX.2 Pro starts at 5 credits ($0.05) per image with Create Image, its cheapest task. Prices by option: 1K 4.5 credits per image, 2K 5.87 credits per image. Credits are the same as on the website (1 credit = $0.01), new accounts get 30 free credits, and failed tasks are refunded.
What is the model name for FLUX.2 Pro in the API?
Put black-forest-labs/flux-2-pro/text-to-image for Create Image; black-forest-labs/flux-2-pro/edit for Edit Image in the model field of POST /jobs/createTask.
What is FLUX.2 [pro]?
It is the production-grade model in Black Forest Labs' second FLUX generation, released on 25 November 2025, built to balance quality and speed. Black Forest Labs sped it up roughly twofold in March 2026.
Can it write text into images?
Yes. Our poster test quoted a headline and a small line and both came back spelled exactly as written, in the typeface style the prompt described. Quote the words and say where they sit.
Does it follow colour codes?
Yes. Hex codes written in the prompt steer the palette. In our poster test a dusk teal and a copper horizon band came out in the tones we specified.
How many reference images can I use?
One to three in an edit. Say what each one contributes: image 1 is the person, image 2 the product, image 3 the place.
Does the seed repeat an image?
A fixed seed is for comparing prompts side by side; it does not promise an identical result.
What are the limits of the FLUX.2 Pro API?
Resolutions: 1K · 2K; Aspect ratios: 1:1 · 16:9 · 9:16 · 4:3 · 3:4 · 3:2 +3; Prompt length (characters): 5,000. Requests outside these limits are rejected before anything is charged.
