About Topaz Denoise & Sharpen
Remove noise or fix blur at the same resolution, up to 24 MP.
Call it with the model name topaz/denoise-sharpen/edit on POST /jobs/createTask, from $0.12.
Introduction
Topaz Denoise & Sharpen gives you two Topaz Labs model families through one endpoint. Denoise removes noise and grain while trying to keep real detail; Sharpen brings back clarity lost to focus errors, movement or a soft lens. You pick the model with preset; there is no prompt.

Our tests
A 2048×1152 candle-lit portrait with heavy added colour noise came back clean after about 19 seconds on denoise_normal; eyes, earrings and the bokeh lights held up, freckles faded. A 1024×1536 café portrait with fine grain, sent as WebP, lost the grain on denoise_strong in about 25 seconds while the curls and the knit pattern stayed. A deliberately blurred 1100×900 portrait regained eyes and stubble on sharpen_standard in 14 seconds. All three came back at their input size.
Limits
Denoise and Sharpen are separate requests, so chain them if a picture needs both. Sharpening reconstructs detail, so inspect faces and text at full size.

Topaz Denoise & Sharpen API questions
How much does the Topaz Denoise & Sharpen API cost?
Topaz Denoise & Sharpen costs $0.12 per image. The API uses a separate USD balance. Website credits cannot be used or transferred to it, and API funds cannot be transferred to website credits. When a task is accepted, we reserve the maximum quoted amount from your API balance. On completion, we charge for actual usage, never more than the hold, and release the remainder. If the task fails, the hold is released.
What is the model name for Topaz Denoise & Sharpen in the API?
Put topaz/denoise-sharpen/edit for Image Denoiser in the model field of POST /jobs/createTask.
Should I pick Normal, Strong or Extreme?
Start with Normal for everyday low-light or compression noise. Strong is for very dark, high-ISO shots and keeps more detail than Extreme. Extreme is meant for badly degraded or heavily compressed images and favours a clean result over fine texture.
Does the photo get bigger?
No. Our 2048×1152 test came back at 2048×1152 and the 1100×900 one at 1100×900. Use an upscaler afterwards if you also need more pixels.
Which sharpen preset suits a portrait?
sharpen_portrait is tuned for skin and facial structure. For a face that is only slightly soft, sharpen_standard or sharpen_natural keeps the result closer to the original; sharpen_strong is for badly missed focus.
What are the limits of the Topaz Denoise & Sharpen API?
Largest upload: 30 MB. Requests outside these limits are rejected before anything is charged.
Can I try Topaz Denoise & Sharpen without writing code?
