Introduction
Qwen Image 3.0 Pro Text to Image is the finishing tier of the line. It takes the same request as Qwen Image 3.0 and spends more on detail — most visibly on multi-element typography and on material rendering in skin, fabric and glass.
Qwen Image 3.0 Pro is the high-detail tier of Alibaba's Qwen image line: 5,000-character prompts, eight aspect ratios, a 1K or 2K tier, and one-to-three-reference editing.
Choose a Qwen Image 3.0 Pro mode by starting material

| An approved source image to revise | Qwen Image 3.0 Pro Image Editing |
Key features
Text-aware image composition
Qwen Image 3.0 Pro is useful for visual concepts in which supplied wording, composition and image treatment must be considered together. Treat generated lettering as a design draft and proofread it before publication.
New composition and source-led revision are separate jobs
Use text-to-image to establish a visual from a written brief. Use image editing when an existing image supplies the identity, layout or material that must be retained while a defined change is made.
Review hierarchy before decorative detail
For posters, packaging and campaign concepts, decide the message hierarchy and focal area first. A visually appealing result still fails the assignment if the approved copy or product facts are not represented correctly.

Use cases
Start from a written brief
Use this tier when the frame will ship as it comes back and carries several pieces of type: a masthead, a date line, a short claim. Keep resolution at 2k, quote every string, and say where each one sits.
Packaging and label mockups
Bottle, box and tin labels where the brand name and a short claim have to be legible on a curved surface. Quote each string, name the material, and let the negative prompt handle stray duplicated lettering.
Poster and out-of-home comps
Enough to take into a review before anyone sets real type over a clean plate.
Prompt guide & pro tips
Quote every string and say where it sits
Name the masthead, the cover lines and the small caps separately, each in single quotes and each with a position. Three or four short strings per frame is the reliable range; negative_prompt can keep duplicated lettering and stray watermarks out.
Pin the seed, then vary one line
Once the layout lands, record the seed and change a single cover line at a time. When you want several readings of the same layout instead of one committed frame, leave the seed out and send the brief as parallel requests.
Adapt the included example
Start with the published example using aspect_ratio: 3:4, resolution: 2k. Replace the subject and creative direction while keeping the input contract for this mode intact.
The exact request behind the cover shown for this endpoint: a 3:4 full-bleed portrait at 2k with masthead, issue line and cover lines all quoted in the prompt.
Check the result before iterating
Multi-element typography is the reason to use this tier, and it still has a ceiling: three or four short strings per frame is reliable, a full page of body copy is not. Generate type at 2k — the 1k tier is for composition roughs. Rare glyphs and non-Latin scripts render but need proofreading before anything ships.
API quick start
Call the Qwen Image 3.0 Pro API in three steps
- Create an API key. Sign in to PopNow and create a key in the API console. Keys start with sk-popnow- and use the same credits as the website.
- Send the request. POST /jobs/createTask with model alibaba/qwen-image-3.0-pro/text-to-image and an input object that follows the parameter table. The response returns a task ID straight away.
- Get the result. Poll GET /jobs/recordInfo with the task ID, or pass a callBackUrl and we post the result to it. Download the output links when the task succeeds.
# 1. Create the task. Keep the Idempotency-Key if you retry after a network error.
export IDEMPOTENCY_KEY="$(uuidgen)"
curl -X POST https://api.popnow.ai/api/v1/jobs/createTask \
-H "Authorization: Bearer $POPNOW_API_KEY" \
-H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-H "Idempotency-Key: $IDEMPOTENCY_KEY" \
-d '{
"model": "alibaba/qwen-image-3.0-pro/text-to-image",
"input": {
"prompt": "A ceramic teapot on a linen cloth, soft window light, muted palette",
"aspect_ratio": "1:1",
"resolution": "2k",
"num_outputs": 1
}
}'
# 2. Copy data.taskId from the response, then poll until state is succeeded, failed, canceled or expired.
TASK_ID="TASK_ID_FROM_RESPONSE"
curl "https://api.popnow.ai/api/v1/jobs/recordInfo?taskId=$TASK_ID" \
-H "Authorization: Bearer $POPNOW_API_KEY"Replace the prompt and any links with your own. The API tab has the response, polling and callback reference.
Qwen Image 3.0 Pro API questions
How much does the Qwen Image 3.0 Pro API cost?
Qwen Image 3.0 Pro starts at 6 credits ($0.06) per image with Create Image, its cheapest task. Prices by option: 1K 6 credits per image, 2K 11.25 credits per image. Credits are the same as on the website (1 credit = $0.01), new accounts get 30 free credits, and failed tasks are refunded.
What is the model name for Qwen Image 3.0 Pro in the API?
Put alibaba/qwen-image-3.0-pro/text-to-image for Create Image; alibaba/qwen-image-3.0-pro/edit for Edit Image in the model field of POST /jobs/createTask.
How is Qwen Image 3.0 Pro different from Qwen Image 3.0?
Same request shape, same fields, higher detail ceiling — most visibly on multi-element typography and fine material. Explore on 3.0, deliver on Pro; the prompt does not need rewriting between them.
How many text elements can one cover hold?
Three or four short strings is the reliable range: a masthead, an issue line and a cover line or two. Quote each one separately and say where it sits. Full paragraphs of body copy still break down.
Which aspect ratio should a cover use?
3:4 or 2:3. Both are composed for that shape from the start, which is not the same as cropping a square — the subject and the type are laid out for the frame you asked for.
Can I edit an existing cover instead of regenerating it?
Yes, on the image-to-image endpoint. Pass the frame in image_urls, quote the old wording and the new wording, and name everything that must stay identical — pose, framing, grade.
Can I get several variants of one layout?
Not in a single call: num_outputs is fixed at 1. Send the same brief as parallel requests without a seed. Each returns one image and is quoted on its own, and because only the draw differs, the readings stay directly comparable.
What are the limits of the Qwen Image 3.0 Pro API?
Resolutions: 1K · 2K; Aspect ratios: 1:1 · 16:9 · 9:16 · 4:3 · 3:4 · 3:2 +2; Prompt length (characters): 5,000. Requests outside these limits are rejected before anything is charged.
Can I try Qwen Image 3.0 Pro without writing code?
Yes. The Playground runs Qwen Image 3.0 Pro on your PopNow credits, needs no API key, and shows the matching code for every run.
