Dialogue stays and the picture is passed through untouched. It is the quick way to drop a licensed song, replace temp music or prepare a clip for dubbing.

What we saw in testing
We mixed a jazz trio about 4 dB under an 8-second, 1280×720 dialogue between two people in a wine cellar. The clip came back after about 77 seconds at 1280×720 and 24 fps. Measured against the clean dialogue we started from, the music was no longer detectable in the output, while both voices were intact and the silence after the last line was clean.
Tips
- Singing is treated as music, so a vocal track in the background goes too.
- Need the music as a separate file instead? Extract the audio and use Vocal Isolator (/api/vocal-isolator-v1).
- For noisy speech without music, ElevenLabs Audio Isolation (/api/elevenlabs-audio-isolation) is the better fit.

Pricing
Prices are in USD. The API uses a separate USD balance. Website credits cannot be used or transferred to it, and API funds cannot be transferred to website credits. When a task is accepted, we reserve the maximum quoted amount from your API balance. On completion, we charge for actual usage, never more than the hold, and release the remainder. If the task fails, the hold is released.

API quick start
Call the Video Music Remover API in three steps

Vocal Isolator (/models/vocal-isolator-v1) takes an audio file and returns two stems, vocals and everything else. Video Music Remover takes a video and returns the same video with only the music taken out, so sound effects are meant to stay in.
Does it change the picture?
No. The frame size, frame rate and length match the source; our 1280×720, 24 fps clip came back at 1280×720 and 24 fps.
How clean is the result?
We laid a jazz track about 4 dB under a two-person dialogue. In the output the music could no longer be measured, and the dialogue closely matched the original recording.
How is it billed?
Per second of the source video, rounded up, with a 3-second minimum, for clips up to 10 minutes.
What are the limits of the Video Music Remover API?
Longest input clip: 600 s. Requests outside these limits are rejected before anything is charged.
