Combine people, outfits, settings and products from up to fourteen images, each described by its role in the prompt.
Reframe while editing
Aspect ratio auto keeps the source shape; any of fourteen shapes reframes the result, as in our example where a 4:1 banner became a 16:9 night scene.

Pricing
Prices are in credits, the same credits you use on the website (1 credit = $0.01). The hold is taken when the task is accepted and settled to the actual charge when it finishes; failed tasks are refunded.
| Option | Credits per image | ≈ USD |
|---|---|---|
| resolution 0.5K | 5.4 | $0.054 |
| resolution 1K | 8.04 | $0.08 |
| resolution 2K | 12.12 | $0.12 |
| resolution 4K | 18.12 | $0.18 |
Each task is rounded up to whole credits, so one run at the lowest tier costs 6 credits per image ($0.06).
For an exact number before you run, send the same body to POST /jobs/quote.
Use cases
Relocation and time-of-day changes
Move a person to a new place or turn day into night for a campaign, keeping the face, the outfit and the pose.
Reformatting finished images
Turn a wide banner into a 16:9 or 9:16 version with new content at the edges instead of a simple crop.
Styled product groups
Arrange several product shots into one styled scene, naming each product and where it should sit.
Prompt guide & pro tips
List what must stay
Name the face, hair, outfit and pose you want kept after describing the change; the model respects a written list.
Describe the new frame when reframing
When the shape changes, say what the added space should hold: more sky, another table, the rest of the street.
Keep search for real references
Switch on image search only when the edit depends on a real place or product the model needs to see.
Draft edits at 0.5k
Test the instruction at 0.5k first; if the change reads correctly, run the same request at 2k or 4k.
Match the tier to the source
An edit cannot add detail the source never had; 2k is usually enough unless the source itself is large.
API quick start
Call the Nano Banana 2 API in three steps
- Create an API key. Sign in to PopNow and create a key in the API console. Keys start with sk-popnow- and use the same credits as the website.
- Send the request. POST /jobs/createTask with model google/nano-banana-2/edit and an input object that follows the parameter table. The response returns a task ID straight away.
- Get the result. Poll GET /jobs/recordInfo with the task ID, or pass a callBackUrl and we post the result to it. Download the output links when the task succeeds.
# 1. Create the task. Keep the Idempotency-Key if you retry after a network error.
export IDEMPOTENCY_KEY="$(uuidgen)"
curl -X POST https://api.popnow.ai/api/v1/jobs/createTask \
-H "Authorization: Bearer $POPNOW_API_KEY" \
-H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-H "Idempotency-Key: $IDEMPOTENCY_KEY" \
-d '{
"model": "google/nano-banana-2/edit",
"input": {
"prompt": "A ceramic teapot on a linen cloth, soft window light, muted palette",
"image_urls": [
"https://media.popnow.ai/influencer/examples/marco.webp"
],
"aspect_ratio": "auto",
"resolution": "1k"
}
}'
# 2. Copy data.taskId from the response, then poll until state is succeeded, failed, canceled or expired.
TASK_ID="TASK_ID_FROM_RESPONSE"
curl "https://api.popnow.ai/api/v1/jobs/recordInfo?taskId=$TASK_ID" \
-H "Authorization: Bearer $POPNOW_API_KEY"Replace the prompt and any links with your own. The API tab has the response, polling and callback reference.
