What is a custom Santa video message?
A custom Santa video message is a short clip in which Santa Claus speaks to one person by name. On PopNow you write the words yourself: type the name, pick an idea or write your own lines, choose one of 12 languages, and an AI-generated Santa says it on camera with a warm, older voice and moving lips. You hear the voice first for about 3 credits, and a 20-second video then costs 54 credits in Standard or 154 in HD.
Santa's AI voice in 12 languages
Santa speaks English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Brazilian Portuguese, Polish, Russian, Japanese, Korean and Mandarin Chinese (written in simplified or traditional characters). For each language we tested several older male voices and kept the one that came out warmest and most natural, so the Spanish and Portuguese Santas, for example, have their own native voices rather than an English one with an accent. Jolly is cheerful with a smile; Gentle is slower and softer for bedtime.

Questions
How do I make a custom Santa video message?+
Type the name, pick one of eight message ideas or write your own, choose a language and press Hear Santa's voice. When the voice sounds right, pick a scene and press Make the video. The video is usually ready in one to three minutes, and you can download it as an MP4.
Is the Santa video message free?+
It isn't free, but it is cheap and you only pay for seconds that are made. A typical voice costs about 3 credits and a 20-second Standard video 54 credits. New accounts get 30 free credits, which covers the voice and video for a short hello. If anything fails, the credits come back automatically.
Can Santa say my child's name?+
Yes. Santa reads the name exactly as you type it, in the language you choose. You hear the voice before making the video, so if an unusual name comes out wrong you can respell it phonetically, for example “Shivon” for Siobhan, and listen again.
Which languages does Santa speak?+
Twelve: English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Brazilian Portuguese, Polish, Russian, Japanese, Korean, and Mandarin Chinese in simplified or traditional characters. Each language has its own warm older voice, chosen after testing several candidates side by side.
How long can the message be?+
Up to about 30 seconds of speech, which is roughly 420 letters or 170 Chinese, Japanese or Korean characters. You pay per second of video, so a short hello costs much less than a long letter. Messages over 45 seconds are stopped before anything is charged.
Is this a real Santa, and can I use my own photo?+
No to both. The Santa is an AI-generated character designed for PopNow, the same face in every video. There is no photo upload here, so the page can't be used to make a real person say things they never said.
How do I send the Santa video to family?+
Download the MP4 and send it in any chat app, or share it with a link. You can also send it to the free video editor to add music, a title or a second clip, or play it on the TV on Christmas morning. HD looks better on large screens.
What is the difference between Standard and HD?+
Both use the same voice and the same Santa. Standard costs 2.7 credits a second and is small enough for chat apps. HD costs 7.68 credits a second, is about twice as sharp and shows livelier expressions. A 20-second video is 54 credits in Standard and 154 in HD.
